Blog Post #10: 2 in 1
No, I do not think that schools should combine both special education and general education students in the same classroom. Putting both students in the same classroom would not be an intelligent thing to do because each kind of student needs different attention. It's not fair to a special education student to not receive the special help that they need and it's not fair for a general education student's learning to disrupted. Combining both classes would only slow down the learning rate and potentially hurt the students. My honest opinion is that both students need different kinds of help and learning methods and bringing both together will always be harmful towards one side.

Blog Post # 9: Tutoring Reflection
I can honestly say that today's tutoring experience changed my life. When I was younger, I used to be afraid of kids with disabilities because I thought that they were so different from us, but today changed that. I watched my classmates interact with the mentally disabled students and it showed me that they're just like us. It was incredible watching my classmates connect with the students and just treating them with so much respect and kindness. As a human, we all have different struggles but our struggles don't define us or differentiate us from other people. I really admire those kids for being just like us and they really inspired me. It was a really amazing experience and I hope that we get the opportunity to do this again.

Blog Post #6: New Years Resolutions & 2nd Semester Goals
My New Years resolutions for 2014 is to get good grades and to be more kind to others. I want to be the kind of person that can help other people by helping them study to just being someone that they can always count on. I also want to read more this year since I didn't read much during 2013. My second semester goal is to focus more in class. I believe that I have a hard time focusing in class leading up to me not understanding the material that is taught to me.
